Direction and Strength.
Wind encompasses two important characteristics; Direction and Strength. These traits define the foundational attributes of Water Women. A group of mentally and physically strong females with a purpose to fill their sails.
In a sport dominated by masculinity, we are not just women. We are Water Women. We are the calm thinkers, the aggressive starters and the high maintenance caregivers of our vessels. We work around brute strength and find other ways to finesse the fleet and come out on top.
Direction
The beauty of sailing is the different pathways available to you as young women. You will find us on the sailing lawn of a Saturday morning or on yachts on a Wednesday afternoon. However, this group, this team, allows us to come together as one and define what it means to be a young female in sailing.
